The beauty of small steps is that they don’t require a herculean effort. All it takes is a willingness to be a beginner again, like a toddler putting one foot in front of the other. Small steps can take you where you want to go, reliably. It may not be as sexy as an instant bright shiny new you, but you’re unlikely to ricochet backwards. You get to experience, and celebrate, your transformation at a pace that doesn’t take you away from yourself. You’re just becoming more yourself, coming home to your best self, each step of the way. It’s as simple as the Tortoise and the Hare fable. Choose the tortoise. Get where you want to go.
I listened to a talk some months back by a Doctor who was telling us a little about mellitin. Not melatonin. I had a bout with cancer within the last three years. I like to research possible ways to make my immune system stronger. What are you thoughts about it? Are there concerns? Is it a precursor to hormone treatment in any way?
Hi Yvonne,
That’s great that you are researching ways to strengthen your immunity. I don’t know a lot about mellitin. I find Examine.com to be a reliable source of information on dietary supplements so perhaps check that out. Best wishes ~ Marian
